NCS-ACOFP offers all medical students complimentary membership and by joining, students gain access to a community and resources that can significantly enhance their journey in osteopathic family medicine.  Residents pay a $50 annual fee which is often paid by their residency program.  To apply, complete the membership application found at this link.

Leadership Opportunities

The NCS-ACOFP strongly encourages both Osteopathic residents and students to become involved in their state society.  Young DO’s are the future of Osteopathic medicine in North Carolina, and as our society grows,  we will need much help to move forward.

At each annual meeting there will be (1) Resident , and (1) Student elected to the NCS-ACOFP Board.

The main goals of these positions are:

1. To assist the Board in shaping the future of Osteopathic Medicine in North Carolina

2. Leading the Resident and Student discussion forums at each annual meeting.

3. Direct mentorship from current Board Leaders

 

Scholarships for Annual Meeting

A small number of scholarships are available for residents and students wishing to attend the NCS-ACOFP annual conference.   Application instructions are issued annually on the conference site.
